Greenville Generating Station supports Great Darke County Fair

Greenville Generating Station announced that, in collaboration with Darke Rural Electric Cooperative, it has donated $500 to the Great Darke County Fair gazebo restoration project.

“The gazebo on the Great Darke County Fairgrounds has hosted performers and entertained the people of Greenville for years,” said Plant Manager Dave Richardson. “The Greenville Generating Station staff is pleased to contribute to the efforts to preserve and maintain the historic Great Darke County Fair gazebo.”

The Greenville Generating Station is natural gas-powered peaking plant with a 200 MW generation capacity. Peaking plants are placed into operation when energy demand is at its highest.
