2024 marks the year that we will finish round one of CtZ Phase 2. CtZ Phase 2 is a very powerful program. It has been amazing to be in those 18 closed door sessions talking about things openly and honestly with your line personnel. The greatest thing about it is the open communication and base-level trust and transparency being established at each of our co-ops. And then we are also finding some gaps in important work practices that need to be filled. Your lineworkers are to be commended for the manner in which they have participated in this amazing program.
CtZ runs in conjunction with RESAP, which has been the major factor in the success of the program. We run it on the front end of RESAP, allowing us to tie in CtZ and RESAP together to discuss the most important things in your safety program in the closing conference. Looking into 2025, we will be having discussions with the safety curriculum subcommittee, the ST&LP committee, and the national working group (RESAP area administrators) on ideas for the best path moving forward.
