ELDT Update

The Entry-Level Driver Training program is running strong and smooth with 10 of Ohio’s distribution cooperatives now actively participating. The state of Ohio has provided an online theory program that paves the way for a new employee to get his CDL at no cost outside of permit and licensure fees. Of course, the cooperative still pays the wages of the employee while learning and the cooperative employee who has been appointed as the instructor. However, there is a glitch in Ohio’s online theory instruction where a student’s recorded testing is not being entered into the online system. So, if you happen to be using or choose to use that option, please contact Dwight Miller.
