On May 23, Firelands Electric's Jessica Schwanger and Stephanie Schmidt spent some time at Crestview Middle School's Reality Store. The cooperative has proudly volunteered at this annual event for well over a decade. A creative way to teach 8th grade students about managing their finances, each student is assigned a specific "income" and then tasked with budgeting their monthly expenses, including housing, transportation, utilities, and entertainment.
