Last week, representatives from Buckeye Rural Electric Cooperative, Lorain-Medina Electric Cooperative, North Central Electric Cooperative, and Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives (OEC) joined hundreds of electric cooperative leaders at NRECA’s 2022 Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.  

Ohio’s cooperative leaders lobbied ten Congressional offices on their top legislative priorities, including swift passage of H.R. 2244/S. 978 (The Flexible Financing for Rural America Act), a direct-pay incentive, and support for federal infrastructure funding. Thank you to our cooperative leaders for advocating on behalf of OEC’s 24 electric cooperatives.
