Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives (OEC) is the wholesale power supplier and statewide services association for the 25 electric cooperatives that serve more than 380,000 homes and businesses across the state of Ohio. At OEC, we strive to educate Ohioans on the importance of maintaining a reliable, affordable and environmentally responsible source of electricity by taking an integrated approach to power generation, and serve as a resource for information about the safe use of electricity, the importance of cooperative membership, and the principles by which all electric cooperatives operate.
