The Entry-Level Driver Training program is running strong and smooth with 10 of Ohio’s distribution cooperatives now actively participating.

Federated Insurance and NRECA have been working together with Pike Electric and the RESAP Area Administrators to bring virtual reality to cooperatives across the nation.

 

Our ST&LP instructors are currently on the road with the 4th quarter safety meetings. For this quarter, Jason Woods is focusing on UTV’s, skid steers, trenchers, and mini excavators.

Phase 2 of the Commitment to Zero Contacts sessions continued in 2023 with nine sessions which were facilitated in conjunction with RESAP.

Day 4 Training at The Energy Cooperative

The ST&LP department recently brought in Phil Kelley of Rowen Tree Services in Seattle, WA to conduct training in Ohio. Phil and Dwight visited the four Ohio cooperatives who have their own ROW crews.
