Ingredients
  • 1 8-ounce puff pastry sheet
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 dash cinammon
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar
  • 2 tablespoons salted sunflower sleeds
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 medium Cameo, Cortland, or Baldwin apple (sliced thin)

Instructions
  1. Thaw puff pastry and roll out onto a piece of parchment in a rectangle shape. Place on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread applesauce evenly over puff pastry. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top, then 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, and raisins. Evenly distribute apple slices and remaining 1/4 cup cheddar on top.
  3. Bake in oven at 400 F for 15 to 20 minutes or until pastry has risen and is golden brown and cheese has melted.
