O’Loughlin pens Dispatch letter to the editor on Clean Power Plan

Pat O’Loughlin, president and CEO of Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives

Pat O’Loughlin, president and CEO of Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives, authored a letter to the editor in the November 16 issue of The Columbus Dispatch.

In the letter, O’Loughlin encourages the Environmental Protection Agency to replace the Clean Power Plan with regulation that better complies with the Clean Air Act.

He also highlights electric co-ops’ investments in environmental controls at coal power plants and the unprecedented development of community solar at co-ops across the state and around the country.

“Electric cooperatives are dedicated to a healthy environment, vibrant rural communities, and prioritizing the needs of their members,” O’Loughlin said.
