CFC, NCSC contribute to Ohio co-ops’ education and training programs

Todd Ware, president and CEO of The Energy Cooperative and National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) director, presented checks from CFC and National Cooperative Services Corporation for $21,400 and $2,800, respectively, at the March board meeting of Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (OREC).

The checks are to support Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives (OEC) education programs, which include training for trustees and statewide employees. Accepting the award on behalf of the OREC board were Washington Electric Cooperative’s David Miller, OREC board member; North Central Electric Cooperative’s Dennis Schindler, OREC board chairman; OEC President and CEO Pat O’Loughlin; and OEC Vice President of Statewide Services Doug Miller.
