Show Your Support for Fallen Lineworkers with a New, Custom Ohio License Plate

Support the Fallen Lineworker Fund

COLUMBUS, OH-April is the month of the year we celebrate our appreciation of electric lineworkers. Electric cooperatives recognize April 8, as lineworker appreciation day. April 18 is slated as national lineworker appreciation day.
Lineworkers are essential to keeping power and light on in our communities all year long, so why not show your support year round by displaying Ohio’s Fallen Lineworkers license plate?
A newly designed Ohio license plate is available for drivers to purchase for $20 when they’re registering or renewing a vehicle in Ohio. Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives designed the new plate for the state last year.
For each plate purchased, half the cost, or $10, will be directed to The Community Foundation of Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives and will be used to recognize and memorialize both injured and fallen lineworkers and their families.
OEC’s Legislative Affairs team was closely involved in the passage of the bill last year, that redirected the funds to The Community Foundation of Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives.
